Licence to Build
Meet the cast of Licence to Build, a suite of characters who take students through the rules and regulations of their trade in a series of educational videos.
Yasmin and Roy, assisted by Piggie, step students through Masonry regs. Deslin, Sergio and Ahmed, assisted by Duck, ensure bathrooms are waterproof. Pip and our star Duck, demonstrate the reasons tight regulations are needed for pool saftey.
Assets were designed in Adobe Illustrator for small degrees of movement and animated in After Effects and Animate. Characters were designed to reflect the students, add humour and, with a tight budget, for minimal redrawing.
