A green children's book titled "That's the Trick!" by Krista Bell and Sarah Dunk, featuring whimsical illustrations of animals including a horse, a hare, and a frog, with a castle tower and a long rope on the cover.

That’s the Trick

A book of commonly confused homophones by Krista Bell. So, 300 images is a lot but they were fun to do and clearly Krista had fun when she sat down with a group of students to some up with these crazy “stories”. All images are made with graphite pencil.

Published by Lothian Books / Hachette Livre.

A rotating sequence of animals doing quirky things such as holding up weights, entering a competiton, looking in a mirror, bowing from a tree branch and painting a still-life.
Well organised alphabetically, with additional index, it is the over 300 illustrations of ‘That’s the Trick!’ which extend its appeal for all ages. Highly recommended.
